Wooster Dental is proud to announce that Dr. Ferenc Relle and Dr. Zach Sherman have completed The Pankey Institute’s Essentials Series, a nationally recognized continuing education program focused on comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry.

The Essentials Series is designed to help dental professionals enhance both clinical excellence and the overall patient experience. Through an in-depth curriculum, participants develop advanced skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and communication—ensuring care that is both highly personalized and focused on long-term oral health

Wooster Dental Hosts Halloween Candy Buy-Back to Support Troops

Wooster, Ohio— October 2025 — Wooster Dental is excited to announce its Halloween Candy Buy-Back for the Troops. Children under 18 can trade their leftover Halloween candy for $1 per pound, up to 5 pounds, while donations from individuals of all ages will be collected to support U.S. service members through Troopathon.

“This event was the first of its kind in Wooster, and we’ are very excited to support the troops,” said Dr. Relle.

“It allows us to continue to support our goal to limit cavity-provoking candy consumption among our little patients’ teeth,” said Dr. Sherman. “Our staff loves it, as do the parents. It is an easy way to ‘do good’ and support our troops at the same time. The program is administered through Troopathon.”

This initiative provides families with a fun and rewarding way to give back after Halloween, while promoting healthy candy consumption habits. All donated candy will be packaged and shipped to troops serving overseas, spreading holiday cheer to those who sacrifice for our country.

On November 3rdt-10th, during regular business hours, children who come to Wooster Dental office accompanied by a parent will receive one dollar for each pound of unopened Halloween candy, up to five pounds. Wooster Dental is located at 1706 Beall Avenue, Suite D, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
