We work closely with dental specialists to provide comprehensive care in those cases where only a specialist can provide the level of care our patients need.

We do not believe that we can provide the total quality of care in every single case that a patient might need so we maintain a good working relationship with dental and medical specialists. Included in the group of specialists with whom we work are pediatric dentists, root canal specialists, periodontists (gum specialists), TMJ specialists, oral pathologists, denture specialists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons.

Just as we attempt to use cutting edge technology and specialists, we work to stay current using continuing education and online education courses to interact with medical issues including the effect of oral bacteria on the rest of the body especially as it affects the cardiac system.

In addition, using links to our website and ready access to Dr Kiefer using his cell phone, we attempt to keep in touch with our patients so that they have ready access to Dr Kiefer or a “covering dentist” so that questions or concerns are addressed as quickly as possible.

In most cases we attempt to see our regular patients who are in pain on the same day they call our office.
